When I first met A, we had nothing better to do than to try out new coffee shops as places to study for medical school exams on weekends (we always had exams). Over time, my professor told me that I should start my own food blog because he thinks lots of people would want to try out the things that A & I tried. So... I started a Tumblr (which is now mostly known for memes). Fast forward to about five years ago... I was getting a bit fed up with the Tumblr style of documenting "things that I ate." I remember it was a stormy Sunday and I was all hygge up for good (hmmm you can't really do hygge in Singapore, it is just too hot) that I decided that I wanted my blog to get a makeover. A would tell you that each makeover takes me about 24-48 hours of me sitting in front of my macbook in my zone. The current version that you see here is version #3. Over the years, I have been veering toward minimalistic style and beautiful graphics.
Just in case you were curious... my coffee order is a flat white.
